Hi all,

I don't know if many of you know Tim & Tracy who run the website woodnwhimsies.com, but they are one of only 2 websites I've ever heard of who sells Dymondwood, and that is how I know them.

They run a small family business and they are very very kind people who I've always had wonderful and pleasant dealings with in the past... They were willing to help me after I bought their wood and wasn't able to chuck it up, just great people all around.

Anyway, I had written for some price quotes and Tracey replied after several days to tell me that Tim has had some kind of accident and will be out of commission with a broken arm for 8 weeks! She was not specific other than to say it required surgery, but I thought that maybe some of you who've dealt with them for a long time & may have a slightly-more-than-business-relationship with them might want to send a card or email or something... So I'm just passing that info along to you!!

Thanks for the heads-up Melanie! [:0] I was about to place another order with them,I guess I had better send Tracey a E-M first. Hope Tim mends up okay.

My prayer is that the healing will take place quickly and that it will be complete, without loss of any movement or use. Tracy, we pray for your health (mental, emotional, physical) as you also go thru this.
Thanks Melanie for the info.

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes. Tim is doing GREAT! They placed a plate in his arm and he'll be as good as new. I have offically received my first three splinters from cutting Dymondwood!!
