Tiger Eye

I'm looking for a supplier of an acrylic blank that looks like this tiger eye blank. Can you point me in the direction of any one that would handle this blank? I also would like a larger blank in the 7/8" to 1" if possible. Thanks in advance Mark.

Contact Dawn, I bet she can make it. I have a bunch of Lemon Sherbet blanks that are just a shade too light from her, but otherwise a dead ringer.

If you're in a pinch before Dawn can make something for you this might work: http://www.woodturningz.com/Acrylic_Acetate_Pen_Blanks.aspx Take a look at the "Cat's Eye" blank -- it has black swirls but the image is similar to the one you posted. I've made several of these and they turn out closer to what your image than what you seen on the web site. You can tweak the final color by painting the inside of the tube white to brighten it or gold to deepen the color.
