The 1st blank is made out of Faux Banana Leaf paper. That's what the label says on the back side of the sheet. At close up, you can see the leaf vein pattern.
The 2nd blank is for the dog owners out there. The black puppy paw prints are black sand on white beach sand. This blank was fun to make. There are still few things to be improved - (1) the seam (not shown) is not as invisible as I would like it, (2) somehow I have to keep the black sand away from the white sand and (3) not enough sand at the bottom part of the tube.
The 3rd blank is another chiyogami paper blank.
I probably will not install any pen kit on the the puppy paw print blank becase it is not ready for the prime time, yet.
I am still deciding what plating I should install for the banana leaf and the chiyogami. Any suggestions?
