Love this idea! They look fantastic! I'm guessing you cast them yourself? Did you ca over the resin when you finished it? That's a clean, beautiful shine!

Thanks everyone for looking. 
Yes, I wound the thread onto the brass tube using my lathe on 200. I tried to build up the thread to approximate the finished shape, and had the bushings in place to make sure I got the end dimension right. Then I cast the tubes in clear resin. I used McKenzie Thermoset Urethane. After shaping, I added ca to give me a harder surface.
