This one came together nicely and I'm looking to play around with more of the Exotic Blanks Diamond Knurled offerings. Finished with 4 coats of friction polish.

Great wood and good work. Pleased to see Friction Polish used.
Although I'm a novice at this point, I'm finding that for the woods (thus far), I'm preferring friction polish. With the exception being some burls I've tried recently. They weren't stabilized and seemed quite punky in some places. For those, I went with CA to try and keep them together as much as possible.

Looking good. Turkish Walnut can be quite beautiful. Check out Claro Walnut is another beautiful species to try out. It's fairly easy to get some with great figuring.

Very nice!

Never heard of Turkish walnut before.
I think it is most commonly known for gunstocks, and the grain shows off well on a larger surface. It reminds me a bit of a darker version of Olive wood.

That's exactly what I thought of when I saw this.
