I just now got logged on to print postage for my secret santa package. Took three days. I love USPS, but this is just plain bad timing. Wow.

I got an email today from the Postal Service warning of overloads and delays. It offered links to other services if you encounter problems.

i also got that same email and wondered if it was fake. said they were having site problems. i wondered if they could send that email to who knows how many people why couldn't they just fix their site.

I went to the other sites and they are pay sites that offer a free month trial. Then you decide if you want to pay the money per month for the service. I dont care for that sort of thing, so I just waited and USPS finally came up.

Saw that "mauled" thing on Leno the other night. The more I thought about it, the funnier it got. But I have to say that, for the last couple of years anyway, I have actually been pretty impressed with USPS service. Go figure. :redface:

I got the e-mail and it is real. I tried printing postage for two packages yesterday and never got either one complete. you can still print through pay pal though. I also opted to not "Sign Up" for the 30 day free trial, I figure I can live with out the headaches it will likely cause in a month.
