As I'd mentioned in a posting on Christmas gifts thread, my best gift was my husband being here. I was fortunate to have him here for his birthday also. He passed away two days after his birthday, January 6th.

You all cherish the time you have with your loved ones. God never promises us a tomorrow in this world with them. My husband had been ill for some time, so we knew to say what our hearts wanted to before it was to late. He's at peace now and out of pain, so I know he's in a better place. Doesn't make losing him any easier though.

I know I've not posted much in this forum. My pen work isn't very good, but I love dropping in to see all of your amazing work.

Bonnie,

No words can replace your loss. We do want to to know that our prayers are with you. It is wonderful that you were able to have the extra days. The memories will bring smiles in the future.

God's blessings and comfort to you.

Bonnie,
We're sorry to hear about your loss. You and yours will be in our prayers today. Your post title says it all. Time will heal the hurt and things will get better.

Bonnie ..... thank you so very much for sharing this with us. It was wonderful that he was here through the holidays .... and then, his birthday.

Please keep coming back to IAP.

Bonnie,
I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you or your husband, and even though I didn't get to know him I'll miss him because this group always feels like family whenever I come here to post or read the posts... I am sorry for your loss, and ours. Hang in there, and remember, God will never give you a burden you can't bear.

Bonnie, I'm so sorry for your loss, and the pain in your heart at this difficult time. Know that you're not alone, that you have many folks supporting you. Also, as you said, it doesn't make it any easier, but your husband is no longer suffering, and let that provide some comfort to you. We all share in your grief.

Bonnie; I am so sorry to hear of your loss! Please keep coming back to the forum, and show us a pen or two, we would very much like to see them.

I want to thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers. I do drop in often to look at all the posts, I just don't reply to often. And that's wrong of me. Even if all I post is a "WOW!" I should let people know their work is admired. The same as all of you took the time to post condolences.

Thank you so much again.......
