Well yesterday was an interesting day...I had put my mind to finishing up a couple of videos that I had on my mind. One for a flat demo on how to use a dovetailing jig and the other on decaling for pens. Both videos and projects went great....Until...I bring the camera back to my puter and the tape gets stuck and now I cant do a thing with the tape...CRAP!!

Camera is going to need some exspensive repair.

Sooo sad...I just hope the tape isnt ruined....about 50 mins worth of good video footage on there...Unedited of course.

Hopefully, I can get the technician at work to fix it up and save my tapes.

Tape...Yeah...Old Tech I know...it is not the type of camera that you replace simply because a newer better version of itself comes about...Its a canon GL2. Not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Still takes great video...Hopefully I can pull the tape out and show the video of my curl maple decal pen...No photos uploaded yet...

good news...

got the tape out...got my footage uploaded the computer and movies are on the way.

A movie of a decal pen is coming soon...new movie of my dovetailing jig is now on the loose on youtube.

Grub, the GL32 is not a video camera!!! Holy cow, it is a monster camera disguising itself as a video camera. That is some setup! Wow.
 
Yeah...It is a real beast...It takes high resolution video for sure...I cant say that its mine, I wish it were...I have full time custody of it through my work. Thats nice. I use it to quite a bit and I would recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately, this camera is out most peoples price range.

For most people, it would be analogous to using a robust beauty to turn a pen. Over kill maybe??

Some of decal footage is up already...I had to redo a few of the movies b/c youtube said they were too long...The video of finishing up the decal will go up last...Its coming before tomorrow...unless youtube says no AGAIN!!
