For those who do not know, on December 14, 2000 the Carr brothers entered a home and well.......... You should read the rest for yourself.
This goes to show that a baseball bat is not enough defense during a home invasion!

I included 3 links, the first is the story, the other two are the prison records for each brother. Take a look at their charges and their disiplinary actions while in prison.

No specific point to this post, just that time of year, and I like to post it when I can.

things like this are absolutely horrific.
im glad however that (for the time being) i have the right, and ability, to defend myself and others in my home from something this absolutly sickening, hideous, and horrendous.
i urge others to seriously consider self defense training, as well as good security systems, and access to and proficiency with a firearm. you'll most likely never need any of those things but this is what can happen if you don't have them. these inhuman things happen every day.
--please don't take this post as me pushing my political/ethical viewpoints, i just don't want anything like this to happen to anyone, ever again. preparedness and proficiency means a safer America, don't take your safety for granted EVER--

Couldnt have said it better myself!

Reminds me of all of the slimeballs that I have to babysit on a day to day basis. Thank you for reminding us to be safe and protect our families.

parol officer or defense attorney?

I was just about to ask him if he's a shop supervisor for the drilling products company down the road.

Things like this are the reason I made sure my 5'1" wife can handle my 12ga with buckshot...and that her .243 stays loaded with good extreme-expansion varmint loads.

people buy car insurance & house insurance& boat insurance..but for some reason they believe they don't need Ms./Mr S&W ...can't understand the logic myself...thanks for the reminder

And nobody pushes for seat belt control, or fire extinguisher control.

The ones that really get me are the ones that want a gun for the house, but have no interest in a CHL because they "don't go to dangerous places." If my house was the only place I went where I felt the need to be armed, I'd move.
