Don Ward(it's virgil)stopped by here this morn.and i'm sure glad he did,we had a good visit and i learned some things i had no idea on how to do them anyway after we looks at each others pens and had coffee,it was off to the shop where i put him to work,this is Don in action,i kept the pen sierra,goncola alves tigerwood i won in a raffle from big rob777,got more pics. for later.

I guess to make it fair I should stop by and turn a pen for all who wins a raffle here on the IAP[] Its nice to know someone else who turns pens and he lives only 25 miles or so from my Dads home. I see more visits in the future when I travel south. Thanks Bill for a fun morning.

Thanks to Bill for the hospitality this morning. We had a great time visiting and talking pens. Bill gave me some very nice spalted pecan and I'll be posting some pics soon.

And then lunch with Ron McIntire, Lyle Walden and Nick, and Dario. One full day of pen stuff.

I almost didn't recognize him.....he is getting thinner every time I see him !

The only way I'll ever get a visit from anyone from this forum is if someone gets lost, refuses to stop and ask directions and just keeps driving....for hundreds of miles.

Mark,gonna look at my map,would love to see that part of our great country(maybe)one of these days,chris,don lives about 3 hours from here but his dad lives about 25 plus miles from here,just lucked out on both the raffle and the visit[]
