My team finally lost tonight, third game of our playoffs here in Florida. We played the undefeated Pace Patriots and lead most of the game, but lost to a field goal with 3.3 seconds left 31-28. Considering it was our first time since 1981 we went past the first round, new head coach, very few seniors, etc. it was a great run. Talking on the bus on the way home (3 hour very long trip it seemed) the kids are already making plans for next season, and how to support the basketball team now. I would have loved to have won and played again next week, but it will be nice to be home on a Friday. One last set of game films to break down, one last "Coaches Corner" TV show to put together, then some highlight videos for seniors to try to get them recruited, the video for the banquet, and I will be done with another season finally.
