letting your customer pick there pen style and materials. Is that they never want what is on the Menu.

Here is my problem. I get an e-mail asking for a Ti Jr. Gent posting cap Rollerball. so for above average in detail and selection.

Problem is He wants it in an Acrylic he saw someplace else.
He described it as yellow with black lines. only the lines are not straight but wonder all over the place.

The first thing I thought of was the Bumble bee from Wood-N-Whimsies.

I also suggested the amber and black from CSUSA.

anyone know of any other yellow and black acrylics?

waiting to hear back about the Bumble bee. I sure hope that is the one cause I need an excuse to get a selection of those blanks. goooood stuff.

Daniel, the last time I was at Woodcraft they had the AA28 that Tommy mentioned. Matter of fact it was on clearance. If you have one close you might check.

Woodcraft has one called Pittsburg. I recently saw one posted somewhere, they said they are on clearance to for under 2.00.

Daniel. Mike in Nanaimo sent me this one in a pen swap a year or so ago If it's what you are looking for might give him a shout and find out what it is and where he got it.

Thanks folks, that gives me a few more things to show this guy if the Bumble bee is not it.
Rick my money is on your pen being the Bumble bee. if not it is a dead on reproduction.
Nice to know everyone else pictures the same style of blank from the description though.

Daniel that's the one that Wood Craft had on clearance last time I was there. If you can't find one I think I have an extra here.

Thanks Mike, I will let you know once I hear back from my customer. I have a woodcraft here in town and would like to get several of them. It seems that once a pen goes out I get an order for another one in a week or two. usually with an e-mail saying that someones mother brother sister or long lost aunt loved the pen so much that they no longer own it. and want it replaced. This does not work well when it was that one of a kind type pen.
A big tip that is dead on but I still do not listen to. do not try to offer everything. someday I hope to listen to myself.
