Since Jeff chimed in and said it was appropriate to post the other 2 Alumilite videos, here they are.

The first is the complete process from pouring to finished pen. In it I demonstrate mixing and pouring clear dyed Alumilite with cherry drill shavings in it as well as white Alumilite with red and blue swirls.

If you think the drop test is impressive, you ought to do a threading comparison! As has been stated many times recently by those casting their own blanks and moving into "kitless" pens, Alumilite threads like a dream compared to polyester resin.

Thanks for the vids, very informative. Was wondering if multiple layers if clear for embedding is possible, if so what is the procedure.
