Very nice bowl. Hope the wood didn't set you back too far.
It was a big piece of cedar that broke my old craftsman. I actually broke two tool rests on the same bowl. I'm happy about it now. I sold the remaining part of the lathe with the faceplates for $150 on ebay. Bought myself a used Jet 1236 for $400. Haven't missed the craftsman at all.
