I do not belong to any of these but if I want to join one which is the best out there and why??? I have heard stories about Sam's club being a good one.

We've got a Sam's Club membership. There are some good deals there, but be aware that there are some deals that are bigger but not necessarily better. Just keep in mind what you're paying at other places when you go. The main reason that we shop there is so that we won't have to shop somewhere else as often. Is it worth the cost? For me it is, just for the gas discount if nothing else. I get a nickel off per gallon when I swipe my member card at the pump, and with the driving that I do, that pays for the membership a couple of times a year.

We've got both a Sam's and Costco membership.
I bought one, then my wife wound up buying the other.
At first, I just kept wondering why we needed both. Then I started saying that we should keep both because they both offer different things, (along with a ton of the same things)..

In the long run, i've spent thousands of dollars at the 2 stores.
Got my flat panel (2) there, patio furniture, rain barrel, compost bin, etc etc etc

Usually most stores will give you a one day pass to check it out and even make purchases for a 1 time shot.

WE have Sam's. Normally we shop at Wal Mart. Their meat department beats anything in town. Prices are excellent. We only shop at Sams for things like paper products (paper plates, TP, towels) because they come in large quantities and we can store them. Don't like to store food products, even in cans for any length of time. Why? I dunno. .

I did go into one of these places some time ago and almost fell on the floor laughing so hard. When I saw the size of some of these things such as a ketchup bottle or box of cereal, I thought I could have this stuff for years and still not finish it.

I was thinking to use them for things such as generators, tv's or patio furniture.

Had a sams, but now that it expired, am considering Costco, the cash back is better there and there are more reward options then sams club..

For the cost they are about the same, goto both and tell them you want to look around first, they will both give you all the info on membership then allow you to browse the store. See what each has to offer in your area and pick the one that fits you best..

My wife made the mistake of buying a giant mustard once before.
I swear that damn container was in my fridge for 3 years. Our big joke was that when the world ended, the only things left would be cockroaches, spam and that mustard container.

My wife and I belong to BJ's and Sam's Club, although we do 90% of our 'box club' shopping at BJ's.

We have memberships at both Sam's and Costco and use them both, but like everything else you have to "shop" both of them, there some good deals and not so good deals.

I've be a member of Sams Club, Costco and BJ's. I've let the memberships expire. I rarely used it anyway, due to the distance we had to travel to get to one.. Basically we used it to stock up on staple items and never went back.

Of the three, I liked Costco the best.
