The BBB - any members?

Had a call today to invite me to join the Better Business Bureau. Any one else here a member? Is it worth the $400+ a year membership fee?

Many years ago, and yes it depended on number of employees.

$400 sounds a bit "rich".

Why would you want to register for a 400 dollar service....what do they provide?

I thought it was free to register your business with the BBB...or is this some auxiliary service they provide for making your business 'prominent' on their site?

I have an "issue" with BBB taking $$$$ from memnbers. If you have a problem that needs to be "resolved". Who is BBB going to side with? You the 'probleemee' or the member 'payee'. I'm serious, this is exactly what happened to me. In the end I called them(BBB) as fraudsters themselves.JMO.

Not worth it

Used to own small retail business. BBB not worth the price you pay - at any price. The value of their endorsement is no where near what it once was - at least not in this area.

I have to agree we had a business with 3 locations in Albuquerque N.M and they wanted to charge us separate fees for each location. I've tried to file claims against bad services and business and no luck other than a we are sorry but>>>
