As we go thru life it is very rare to find a true friend, that is one that can accept all of your faults and still be there to help out when help is needed. Most people are able to find one or two good friends during their lifetime. I am very fortunate, no extremely fortunate. For I have found over 4,000 such friends. And the best thing is that y'all know them.
I am speaking of my good friends right here at the IAP. You have offered encouragement when I let you know that my father was coming home from the hospital under Hospice, with just a couple of months left to live due to leukemia. You have listened to my rants about things that irritated me. You have helped guide me in being not only a better pen-turner, but also a better person. You have made me laugh at some of the good-humored antics from certain members.
You have made me look forward to some quiet time in front of the computer communicating with you. You have provided me with a wealth of information, and have given me access to some awesome pen-blanks. Your generosity to others has been overwhelming. In fact, y'all embody the meaning of a true friend in all respects.

I am glad I can call myself a member of IAP.

I wish each and everyone of you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, and a HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR. ;):D

Sorry for being so sappy.

with a grateful heart

Rob ...

Very nicely put. You echo the thoughts and feelings many of us here at the IAP have.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and all the rest of the IAP family.

;)

Well said! As far as family, I don't know about that. I check in here everyday, my family.................not so much :D:D:D! Merry Christmas and thanks to everyone who make this an informative and entertaining place to visit.

Thanks to everyone for the Christmas wishes, and Happy New Year to all. UPDATE:
My Father woke up this morning with 50% of his mind working and we could carry on sonewhat of a conversation. Best of all was he knew what day it was and said that he was glad to see his 84th Christmas and was satisfied with his life, but stated he didn't expect to see his 84th New Year but hoped he could.

Life is good this morning!
