I just got home from Woodcraft. They are Turning For The Troops today and they had a pretty good turnout. I made two of the pens that they provided, slimlines, then I donated two of my personal stash. I would have turned more but there were people waiting for the lathes when I finished #2. I think that is a good way to let the troops know that we all are thinking of them. Thanks again Woodcraft. Russell

Try to remember this when you are looking for tools, saws, etc.

OUR local Woodcraft also contributes kits to the high school that does the "turning for the troops".

Besides that, the owner KNOWS table saws and other "big" tools. His pricing is competitive with the internet (remember to add shipping) and there is a lot to be said for "local support" if something goes wrong.

(My saw was shipped with a "loose wire" on the switch, nice to have someone to call on that Sunday that I set it up---ran for half an hour then quit---simple repair when I was told it MIGHT be the problem---factory was closed on Sunday---Woodcraft was NOT!!)

In Milwaukee, they are a GREAT corporate citizen for a relatively small company.

Thanks Chris!!
