I just wanted to say THANKS to the (to numerous to count) IAP members who provided insight, tips, etc. on this forum and contributed their knowledge to the beginners. I spent many, many hours on the site searching and learning. I can't begin to thank all of you for your contributions.

I started making pens two years ago this month. It was a completely new experience for me, as I had never worked with a lathe. After buying some equipment I managed to make my first pen. It was crude compared to what I do now; but, it was a start. Next month will be my 2nd year as a member or IAP. I have made numerous IAP friends during the last two years and look forward to more in the future.

So, If your ever contributed to the beginners like me, please pat yourself on the back! And, thanks again.

Yep, this is indeed a very knowledgeable bunch of great folks and they all tend to offer great advice learned from a lifelong variety of experiences.

Keep up the great service everyone! It is what makes us all a 'family!'
