Just want to say what a great time we had at Monty's home in Pearland, TX. Both he and his wife, Jan, showed us what great Southern hospitality really is all about. Guys came from all over Texas and Louisiana to be treated to great company, food and a rollicking round of Chinese Christmas exchange. Monty gave a great CA demo and we got to see beautiful pens made by each IAP member there. The women had a great time, too with there own Chinese Christmas exchange. So, THANKS MONTY!! Hope we get to do it again sometime.

I have to second that My wife and I had a great time and it was sure fun meeting everyone. Jan & Manny did a great job hosting the first meeting. We had a great time!!!!
Thanks Manny!

Have to say thanks to Jan and her entourage for the great eats and treats. And thanks to all that came from near and far to make it the success that it was.
Hey, let's do it again soon.
I really, really don't like turn plastic!
Vern

And a side thanks to Vern for supplying 20 lbs of Venison. Mannie and Jan are truly fine hosts and a great time was had by all. Too bad he lives so far out in the sticks. You can't say he lives in the middle of nowhere but you can see it from his driveway.

I would also like to say thanks to Mannie and Jan for such an enjoyable time. Being new to all this I really enjoyed meeting all of you. I enjoyed meeting some of the people whose work I have seen. All of the advise and new ideas was really appreaciated.

Manny, we just got back in and I wanted to tell you that my wife and I had a great time and you and Jan were the perfect hosts. It was good meeting everyone there. There were some beautiful pens on display and the food was outstanding.

George, you think it's out in the boonies now, should have driven out here 20+ years ago. At a former job, we had wine tastings once a month. When we hosted the first time, one person from the Boston area asked when the pulled in the drive after driving just from the Med center area, "Are we still in Texas?"

Mannie, I saw all those crawdad mounds in your front yard. Looks like that whole area was rice fields for a lot of years.

Anyhow, thanks again for the hospitality and good food. Put out some pic of the "social event of the year".
