For cleaning up the profanity in the SUBJECT of all places. Albeit, it was "only" an acronym, but I don't like having to explain what W T F means to my kids. Surely our vocabulary is above the juvenille level here.

All I know is that if the minority begins to rule what the majority can and can't do (within reason, of course), I am done with this site. And, I suspect, many others will be as well.

First peanuts in schools and now acronyms. Enough, already. Got a problem with someone using an acronym in place of an indecent word? Then YOU find another site.

I've had it with special interest groups trying to run the world.

WTH is going on now, What did I miss? I check in 5 or 6 time a day always miss something. I bet a lot of kids know more Acronyms than we do with all the texting. I get so tired of having to be PC all the time. Off to the shop to see what I can destroy tonight.

10 PM. Made two nice pens will post pictures later productive evening. Explained to my dog Lola what WTF meant, she licked my face and wagged her tail then jumped the big dog, Bruce and kicked his, ah you know.

Could not have said it better . . . The (2) things that irk me the most in our day to day lives is the constant having to watch that you don't offend someone who sits around with bated breath waiting to be offended so they can draw attention to how perfect "THEY" want you to perceive them being.

And of course there is the new Zero Tolerance . . . Also known as the bully's free pass to torment . . . Kids didn't kill each other in school and workers didn't kill their co-workers prior to ZERO TOLERANCE. Let anything fester long enough and it will pop . . .

As to W.T.F., if your kid knows what it is, you are to late, if he does not perhaps you could be creative like our parents did when we were growing up . . . I see other members had no problem being creative . . .

I know to some it is shocking, but the Beaver wasn't real . . . neither were the Walton's . . . In real life some of them eventually became porn stars and drug addicts. .

Hey, we all thought Leave it to Beaver was a good family show...but the worst line ever on tv, then, came from that show when June told her husband "Ward, I thought you were a little rough on the beaver last night."

Gary, I agree that we do not need to go overboard. But to call us the minority because we may have a different set of thougths about what is meant by WTF? If you read a post that follows you will be able to determine the use the abbreviation. I feel that most of the time it is short for the swear word that you do not want repeat in public, BUT AS YOU STATE IT WE SHOULD RESGN FROM THE FORUM BECAUSE WE WANT TO PRTECT OUR CHILREN AND GRANDCHILDREN? If that is the case then I will bethe first to resign from the IAP. My granddauhters and a grandson are now learning the art of penturning. I will have to find another forum to follow for them to advance. All because you are worried about a ninority trying to keep language in line-Rememb er this is what I thought that this a family sight. but gues I am wring as usual;I guess that it does nit bother Cav and some other higher ups that seemed to laugh at us for our ideals. Oh well.Have fun with your forum Gary and you guys that do no want us minortiy to have anyopinions about anything, so ave fundictating you forum yuor way.
 
Mike ---remember at the end of the day the majority of the members help set the standards, not what one or two people post.

That is my point Gary. So you all that posted in this post do not care that some people care enough to try to stop something that they see could be a problem. Like I said in a previous post of someone whom was posting things in another members forum- but he turned it around to be my problem-not his- and he is the one who made the comments in a post that had nothing to do with the post in the first place. I guess that this is showing me something that I did not want to see. I give up, no matter what someone says unless you are a moderator or a long time member then you cannot make a post about something that you believe in without being chastised for it. Thank you Gary. Have a great day - smile - and God bless. I am going to be out for awhile anyway, I am having one shoulder replacement then a rotator cuff surgery on the other shoulder. So what I think about anything does not matter anyway.

Cav, I am not insulted because others have different opinions. But when rules are made and you your self break them then turn it around that it is my problem - It was something small but you would not even answer my pms to discuss it in
private-thus avoiding that you may have made an error or that I saw it and you think that you are too good to admit it. But its you "CAV" so nothing ever happens with it- I only looked at it as you using your power to do what you want without any one contradicting you. I know that you will fancy talk it to be my problem - I just think that people have the right to their thoughts without their post being piled on with the cow manure that was spread on it. I have questions about procedures and a few other items but am afraid to ask anymore because of the comments. 2 years ago we did not get comments made when we posted something-that is all I am saying. Though obviously of no worth to this forum.
