My dad and I went to visit Jeff Powell this morning. Just wanted to send out a great big thank you! He was a great host and very welcoming in showing us his scroll sawing/casting process. I can't wait to turn the blanks. I just hope I can do justice to Jeff's art. Someday I hope to do half as good with creativity and quality in my creations. We also had a great time checking out his intarsia work. I really didn't understand what went into this until today. I don't have the words for how amazing his intarsia looks. Thanks again, Jeff! We had a blast learning from you. I will post picks of the flames as soon as I can get over to my dad's shop. And on a side note, whoever ends up as Jeff's PITH partner, you are one lucky person.
