I was in North Phoenix last week for company meetings, a welcome trip out of Southern Ontario in mid February with a lot of snow on the ground.

I have two friends at work who are located in Clearwater FL and recent pen converts, I mentioned we needed to drop in on Anthony and see what some real pens look like.

Well we had a nice trip up to Anthony's, stopping first at Pipe Makers to buy some lucite and ebonite. Once we arrived at Anthony's I think George and Eric didn't say 3 words, their eyes were all over the place and for new pen makers it must have been overwhelming, it still is for me.

Thank You Anthony, I enjoyed our visit, it had been 2 years since I last saw you. I enjoyed seeing your new store and seeing all your work and representation work on display, amazing spaces. I held one of the big buck Loiminchay pens....I am still catching my breath.

I bought some ink, shared some stories and pen talk, a very pleasant time. Thanks again my friend, I enjoyed the visit and I know George and Eric were deeply inspired by your work and information, but more so by your kindness of sharing. I know you had just got back from LA, I appreciated that you took us in when you were still unpacking.

Well, I wondered how long it would take for you to post your trip report Jim! :D:D:D

Anthony, I would like to echo Jim's thanks also. Seeing your store and shop was a fantastic experience. I now have a new level to strive for in my craftsmanship.

The trip to Pipe Makers and Anthony's made the next two days of (boring) meetings go by a lot faster!

Thanks Jim, good seeing you again. I thougth you woud take a second mortgage out to buy one of those Loiminchay's :)

George, I thought you ived here in town. I can't believe you came from FL. and I didn't get any of your money :D
