I just want to take the moment to thank everyone for their support. I go to the doctors tomorrow to determine to extend of the damage.
The funny thing is it does not hurt. I have had broken bones before this is one time I can truely say it does not hurt.
I have been on the lathe Monday. I was able to turn but had to think out each step. I am working at about 50%.

Again just wanted to thank the members here who I can call friends and family.

If I find out that I will damage my hand more if I keep turning I maybe calling on a few of you to help out. I will work out a deal for your time and trouble.

Thanks again

Alan

Just got back an hour ago. It is a chip fracture of the bone structure of pinkie finger and a broken palm. He made a brace so that I continue to turn. I will be at only 50% but that is enough to get me through a couple of projects. I will not know until Friday until I can get back into the shop. The doc said it would take between 4 - 6 weeks for it to heal. I did not think it was that serious but with out the brace I could lose all use of the pinkie.

Sprits good will be making the boxes tomorrow inside of the the cold....

Thanks again should I find that I am falling behind I just may call on some help..

Thanks

Alan
