Hi Everyone,

My name is Lynn and Eagle was my husband. I just wanted to say Thank you myself for all that you have done for me and my family. You will never know how much help all of your post have meant to me. I can't believe how many peoples lives he has touched in one way or another.
You all have been friends with him, and admired him for his artistry.
I only thought it was his hobby, and how much time he spent doing it was too much.
From the bottom of my heart again thank you

Lynn

Eagle was a once in a lifetime person. It was definitely more than a hobby and yes it consumed him but he always had time to talk about his first love - family. What amazed me is how he ever found time to make any pens with the many conversations he had with all his friends. As the others have said - thanks for sharing him. God Bless.

Nicely said and I agree. :)

What amazed me is how open he was too. We talked about personal stuff like his struggles fighting is own "demons".

Lynn, As mentioned above, he talks about you all the time and how sorry he is for the times of weakness and when he let you down. Thank you for being there for him. Without you, his legacy could have not been.

Lynn, I want to thank you for sharing Eagle with all of us. Both his character and his art will live with me forever. My ideas of what can be done with penturning have been changed directly and solely because of him. In more ways than one he has made me have to think twice. Not only about what can be done in the way of art, but also in what it takes to really help someone reach for the best in themselves.

Lynn, Hank and Bruce said it best, he always had time to talk to me, and as Bruce said I just don't know how he had time to make pens as he always had the time to help someone or just see how they were, I can't tell you how many times he called to to see how I was doing after my eye operation ..yes Lynn thank you for sharing him with the rest of us.

Eagle and I had our ups and downs.

Then one day, out of the blue, he emailed me his phone# and I called him. We spent close to two hours on the phone. Those of you who knew Eagle wouldn't find this unusual. But for me to stay on the phone for more than 5-10 minutes is completely unheard of.

I like to think we became friends that day.

He will be missed, but his legacy will still be with us.

God Bless

He liked to think that too, Ron! He spoke highly of you on several occasions.

Lynn,
Eagle was one-of-a-kind!
We spent a good deal of time on the phone and conversing via email.
He always brought you into the conversation as you were part of every pen he made or planned. I still take inspiration from his fantastic creations.
Thank you for continuing to share him with us.
Peace,
Gary

I, too, considered it a great honor to have known him, even if only through emails and several phone calls. Like has been said, thank you for sharing him with us, he will be and is greatly missed. You and your family have been in my prayers.
