Well its tax time again. Starting to get my tax papers together in the house so there is going to be little shop time for me. My wife and son leave the house when I am working on the taxes. They say I get very moody when I am doing the taxes. How does everyone else handle this time of the year. I use to take mine to a CPA but he turned me on to turbo tax a few years ago. After I get them done he ussally will go look over it for me and give me a yeah or nay if there is a problem.

LOL Your not alone my friend. I get moody when reconciling the monthly finances.... I suppose it would be safe to avoid all contact while and at least a few days after doing my taxes.

I used to do taxes for a living, when I retired I refused to keep up with all of the tax law changes so I now use a professional. I get all of the info ready and take it in and say "Fix this mess!".

There is a problem this year with Turbo Tax loading. I found the resolution to loading it. For some reason the 2.0 and above Net frame work for Microsoft was causing the issue to correct the problem and to get Turbo tax to load you have to delet the net 2.o and above then load Turbo tax. Your auto updater for windows will redown load the net frame work again with the corrections.

When things were not as complicated I done them myself. For the last 4 yrs i go to H&R Block. They are a bit expensive but I come out knowing there done for the year.

I used to do it myself of myself, my partner and my daughter. But with all of the changes we now hire someone to take care of it for us so we can breathe easy and know it is done properly. What a relief!
