I made several pendants awhile back and put the cords on them and set them a side. A month or so later I picked one up and the lobster claw clasp looked gold but it wasn't it was tarnish. Any one else see this problem? And how can I solve it?

some metal, especially sterling silver tarnish very quickly. a solution is to apply a coat of Renaissance wax. It will need to be reapplied periodically.

Thanks for the reply. I have also heard that a coat of lacquer would also help. I guess anything to keep the air away
