You guys need to get a tabbed browser. I clicked the link which started opening the site in a different tab then clicked back to this tab and am happily browsing away while the page loads (or doesn't; we'll see).

(edited to add) 5 minutes later and it is still loading. But what I can see (about 1/3) has some amazing pens. Probably 500 pens all on one page. Fire up the site in a separate window and let it load. It is worth the look.

ok sorry guys what I was wanting everybody to look at were some reverse hand painted pens go to home page of dalys pens http://www.dalyspenshop.com/home/ thats the link for the home page go there and scroll down to the featured item Monteverde Hand-Painted Limited Edition Megarollers click on them and read about it they are hand painted reverse from the inside sorry the other one didnt take u to the right place trust me my connections not that fast

Wow. That's probably the largest web page I've ever loaded. I feel so proud that the computer didn't crash after loading (9 minutes!) that I'm afraid of closing it because I may be tempted to look again.

Now, on to the pens....

I must be naive about pen pricing, because I can't imagine a market for $600-$1,000 pens, ugly or otherwise.

Brian

oh heck that price is nothing i love pens of all sorts so i buy stylus magazine and the annual this year has pens over $50,000.00 heck there were some more than a lot of people pay for a house, i wouldnt mind having the tiger Monteverde pen i love that one[:D]

Steph,
We've got a couple of members here whose beautiful hand-painted pens are as nice as
those. You should look them up; go to photos and search 'em for guess what? "hand painted"
Enter it w/o quotes in the Find Photos widget and have fun viewing.

Check this pen out....

I personally do not care for it, but it is the most expensive pen I have ever encountered. The price is listed in a little blurb to the left of the photo on the 2nd page. He made 10 total; eight have already sold (when article printed). $$$$$$$$$

I have found most of the pens I like, other than those made individually, are under $1200.

thats the one i was talking about costing more than a house, i agree gary there are some very beautiful hand painted pens done by members to me they look like they could sell for several hundred dollars themselves it was just the thought of how the reverse pens are made probably not something many people will have or have heard of if i was a good painter i would do it to some of mine i am making my way threw all of the photos from members but im not all the way there yet oh i have seen some nice scrimshaw work on a few pens in the gallery to, something i would like to learn
