Today I cast up some different worthless woods and I figured that I will have a sucessfull expeiment this weekend. So I tried my first swirl/mix
I Had 6 mold ready all filled with worthless wood, guestimated the amout of Alumilite that I would need, began measuring A and B in various cups.
tinkered with the 2 blues I wanted addind more pigments, and DRY pearlessence. mixed the first batch, the darker and made the pours in all the molds, then quickly did the same for the lighter one. Made almost the exact amount....1 mold was slightly over filled and 1 Slightly underfilled, then sat back and hoped that the colors did not blend! it seems to be going well! here are Photos of them "cooking"...did not use the Pressure pot as there was no way I could have done all of that and got them in the pot!
Comments and tips always welcomed!
