My yard is covered in Sweet Gum Balls and I would be happy to box some up and send them to anyone interested in casting them for the cost of shipping. Just pm me.

I would jump on this if I weren't so far behind on my other castings. I see you've done some casting. These are very easy to cast with great results, If you have a pressure tank. Just warm them for a while in the oven, dump in the mold, put a mesh bag over them to hold them down (like what oranges come in), and pour your aumilite colors over the top. The sweetgum balls will do all the work, mixing the colors as the resin rolls over the balls. Just warm the resin to thin it down so it gets in all the holes and hard to reach areas on the sweetgum balls.

I do not need any because I have plenty near by. Thanks for asking.. But I do have a question - Do they need to be stabilized prior to casting?
