I was watching this on eBay but my cold (and meds) got better of me and dozed off. It finished while I am in la-la land!!! :mad: :frown:

Assuming the picture is 15" wide (shown is about 42 blanks if cut), how much would you pay for a 7/8" sq x 5" blank from this piece?

Personally, I am willing to pay $10.00 (or more for the best portion of it). Maybe because koa is one of my absolute favorite.

As beautiful as the pens would be, I'd hate to cut up that piece of wood into pen blanks. I think it would be better served cut into veneer and used on a gorgeous tabletop or armoire doors.
 
That is a lot of great Koa for $185.00. There would be some trim scrap for pens but that would make a spectacular box. I'm gonna write as see if they got more.

I don't have the time to watch ebay like I used to. I'd of bid on that! Next time Dario, bid on it. I'll split the cost with ya!
