I had the privilege of meeting another of the fantastic IAP members last night. I wish I had more time to visit him. He is super talented at turning Pens one of the best I have every seen. If anyone ever gets a chance to see his work stop by his shop its well worth your time. His user name here on IAP is JDOUG5170

Rodney, Rodney, Rodney....Thank you. It was a pleasure meeting you also. It is nice of to say such nice things of this rank beginner. I'm having so much fun. I turned one of the beautiful blanks you left behind this morning and WOW, great piece of wood.

If I were not so broke from buying wood and kits on the group buys, I'd buy some photo lights and take a picture with this new camera I had to buy to show...

I know it has been said many times before, but, even the lesser grade material Rodney brought over is very nice. Hopefully he will have a new variety for you all, soon.

I'm going to meet Blind Squirrel in a couple of days. Looking forward to it.
Have met several other folks from here. It's always fun to meet a fellow turner.

I've never met a blind squirrel before but did have a dog with one eye, three legs that was neutered when I was a kid. Yup... his name was Lucky!

I had a friend once that owned a blind squirrel. It live loose in his house and had learned how to run all the way around the living room jumping from piece of furniture to piece of furniture. It was really funny to watch cause it would really move fast. then one day someone had moves a chair over about two feet and the squirrel face planted into the side of it. After that it would always hesitate at that part of it's trip around the room.

That's the saddest, funniest thing I've heard in a while! LOL :D

I was in my brother's pool last Saturday, and his sheltie was playing fetch with his favorite pool toy, which happens to be a deflated volleyball. It's totally flat (airless) and in the shape of a half-sphere. Swimming his way back to the ladder, it flipped up over his eyes, he went off-course and plowed into the side of the pool. I almost drowned. heh [:p]:D
