Came (a little late) to do my introduction.

hello everyone. late 40s, from central PA.

i turned pens YEARS ago, but have been "normal" for the last decade or more. in the last 6 months something has re-awoken the pen nerd in me and i started collecting pens again, until i remembered, i can actually make them instead of buying them, so i started pen turning again. i used to be a mostly exotic woods on pen kits guy with a couple deer antler pens here and there, but now im doing bespoke/kitless pens, acrylic, and custom pouring epoxy. i more or less joined up to steal everyones ideas for inspiration. i dont sell as a business. i make for myself and gifts.

Welcome from Utah Sean.

So... what you are saying is that it went into remission, but it is BACK!!!

Embrace and Enjoy, you are among friends.

Greetings from Nebraska and welcome to the IAP community. I started making resin blanks not that long ago and I'm finding it to be a lot of fun. I have everything I need to do kit-less, but I haven't taken the step yet. I've been making pens from Kate Harrow's Apollo kits as kind of an intermediate step. Welcome aboard. - Dave

Welcome from FL. It is a good thing you are not normal anymore, because if you were you might not fit in! Lol
Unless I got on the wrong website again, we all have a pen addiction! Welcome back!
