Summer picnic items finally done

I finally was able to turn some of the blanks I won or traded from at this summer's picnic.

One is the M3 metal pen blank I won and the other is Camphor that I traded for.

Both pens look very nice but I like the blackgold the best. I won the damascus steel and realy like the way it worked. Great work and finish on yours.

M3 is some hard stuff. Had to sharpen several times. Even with that it wasn't that bad to turn.

i have just recently done the M3 that i won at the picnic...i'll post a pic this weekend.

i have to say.....the M3 is HARD!!!! i would make 2 passes on the blank and have to sharpen........dayum!

i got the 'black gold' also....and put it on a blk ti baron......pic to follow
