Out of curiousity, I've seen themed kits for religious, medical,etc. but are there kits out there themed around music or more specifically musicians?
The reason I ask is I went out on a limb and looked for a man my Dad had dealings with many many moons ago when he was trying to make his way in the music industry. This man played on some recordings my Dad had done back in the day. Long story short,Dad settled for being happy to have attempted his dream, and the acquaintance has gone on to be a highly sought after musician in the Nashville recording industry. They were fairly tight back then and have since lost touch personally but followed his career from afar. My Dad's health is failing due to multiple cancers and I knew he would love to hear from this guy so I attempted to find him and contact him without my Dads knowledge of course.
Well guess who he got a letter from today? He was so happy.....Glen, hand wrote several pages, while on a plane to Chicago then to London for a tour, about what happened to all the old band members and how his life and career has carried he and his family over the years. Dad was so thrilled to have gotten it, and it meant a lot to me not to have been just blown off.
He wants me to keep in touch with him on dad's condition and I'm just so grateful, I feel the need for a thank you pen.
Suggestions??? Background....He went to college for music, writes music, backup vocals, but is known for bass guitar, electric and upright.
