One of the first pens I attempted to make was a Stratus click. I broke the plastic part of the click assembly. Most likely due to being ham-fisted rather than an incipient crack in the plastic. I do not mind getting a replacement part, but would be left with a plastic pen. I found a 2017 thread on the IAP website, but it involved disassembly, not repair. Months ago I happened on a method of repair involving some milling of a hardware store brad or screw as a replacement of the plastic; however, I can't re-find that source. (My last search led me to repainting a Dodge car.)
Is the attached photo of any help in finding a non-plastic solution, or should I settle for plastic? I have marred the wood finish.
