Hi everyone, I know I don't stop by as often as I wish. Life is just busy busy busy. A real quick update for those that do know me.

Kelly - we just got back from a quick trip to MD Anderson and she still has a clean bill of health. April will be 2 years cancer free. Her speech is doing very well, the doctor was impressed since she did all her own speech therapy. They offered her plastic surgery to help hide the scar on her neck (from removing all the lymph nodes), but she said "no, I am a cancer survivor and I am proud to show this scar.
Sorry Manny we wanted to call you but I didn't post needing your phone number in time. Please pm your phone number again, I got a new phone and for some reason I cannot find it.

Sean is 4 years old now and looks like a 5 yr old. Katie is 5 months. Picture below of them.

Me I am just working way too much. Still paying off medical bills from her cancer and from Katie being born. I don't get much turn time but I do get a little. I also still do the sandblasting. Expanded from just coasters to some bigger sandstone pieces and some glass work.

Tom

I'm glad to hear that you and especially Kelly are doing OK

The pics of Katie and Sean are wonderful!!!. Great looking kids:)

Keep well!!

It's good to hear from you Tom. I am in awe of your wife, or anyone for that matter, who can show such courage. Her attitude towards her scar is amazing. Good for her!!! I'm glad your family is doing well and I hope you can find some relaxing shop time for yourself soon. The pen I received from you during the swap still receives many favorable comments.

Tom, it's good to hear that Kelly is doing so well, Your children look wonderful, it's amazing how fast they grow up. Are you still making those sandstone IAP coasters??

Tom, We're all so happy for Kelly and you. The kids are beautiful. I know how Kelly feels about the scar, Diane had a double mastectomy four years ago and has refused to have implants. She's my hero....

2 years...........my how time flies. Glad to hear Kelly's doing great. Kids look fantastic also. PM'ed you my numbers.

I am glad to hear that all is going well and that you are busy. Do you have a website that shows your work? Take care.

Tom,

Thanks for the update.

Tell my favorite colleen that I am proud of her! I don't show my cancer scar as taking my shirt off is not a pleasant sight!!

The kids look great. The photo really brings back memories of when mine were young.

I keep my coaster next to my computer. It reminds me to say a quick prayer for Kelly on a regular basis.

Thanks for the update Tom. Those are some beautiful kids! Sounds like you've been focusing on other priorities than turning in the last couple of years, which makes perfect sense, but hopefully soon some of those stressors might decrease some and allow you to do a little more turning, but until then, you're heart's in the right place and focused in the right direction, that's for sure!
