Hi Everybody! I haven't checked in here for a while. My Wife had a dangerous situation in her neck, and this past Monday, the 1st, she had a four-level fusion of her neck. I have been kept busy taking care of her, but she is definitely on the mend, getting a little better every day. She will be off for six weeks.

My day job is providing medical assistance for indigent people. I have become somewhat jaded over the years concerning the quality of medical care in our society. But I am here to tell you that there are still some places, and some people, that begin to give a person some hope that there is still quality care available! I can't say enough good things about the neurosurgeon who worked on my Wife, and the team of people he has gathered. Also for the small hospital that he and his partners run.

Sorry to preach! Any good wishes for my sweetheart's speedy recovery would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Friends!

Scott.

Hey Scott, it's good to hear from you and to also find out that your wife is on the mend. May she continue to heal and eventually be as close to 100% as possible. She is lucky to have you at her side taking care of her. Take care.
Do a good turn daily!
Don

My wife had what sounds like a similar procedure this past October. She is doing very well now. She is back to work and to the lake on the weekends. Best of luck for a speedy and complete recovery.

Well wishes and prayers for your sweetie and you as well. Nice to see you still poking around, you have been missed.

Thanks Everybody! She does seem to do a little better every day. The doctor called us tonight to see how she was doing, and was able to explain some of what she is going through. I'm lucky to have been able to take a week-and-a-half off of work to be with her, which has been nice. I appreciate all your good wishes, and I believe it does make a difference! So thanks again!

Scott.

Many good wishes for you and your Sweetie. Both of you take it easy, go slowly one day at a time. Each day will bring a little more energy, comfort and recovery.
