Stars indicate how cool someone is. The cooler you are ... the more stars you have. [;)]

Stars definitely do not equate with penturning intellect. I'm a good case in point. Thirteen hundred and some posts of nothing but dribble. Well, sometimes I have something worthwhile to offer ... like ... let's see .... lemme check my archives .... ohhh here's one that was worthwhile .... "Push that red button to turn on your lathe." And, here's another good one of mine ..... "When having trouble getting a pen to write ... check to see if the ink needs refilled."

Truthfully, stars reflect the number of posts that one makes.

Regardless of how many stars you have ... everybody in IAP has a seat at the table. (Except WoodCav)

It's just the post count:
10-49, 1 star, green
50-99, 2 stars, light blue
100-199, 3 stars, dark blue
200-999, 4 stars, orange
1000 and up, 5 stars, gold

mods have purple stars, admins have red stars

There's an option in your profile to hide your post count and stars.

well, it's a given that MOST everyone here is full of something.....so the question is open to everyone.....not how full.....but full of what?!? (remember, we must keep it somewhat less than vulgar!)

I actually hadn't realized that I had the highest ranking of stars, that is unless I were to be made a Mod... Jeff... [:D][:D]

I also do have to agree with Doc saying that the stars don't have much to do with pen-turning intellect, or Randy would take a few stars away from me, that's for sure! [:D][:D]

Jeff - Couldn't you come up with a different color star for Ang? I think a bunch of <b>PINK</b> stars would be most approriate [:p]
