This took a lot less time than thought.
Tank is from Curtis. The suction part is a refrigerator compressor with a tube hooked to the suction side. It pulls 28 mmhg without a sweat. Compressor $40, tubing $4, brass connector Free because it was the last one at Lowes and the clerk got tired of looking for aprice!
After stabilizing, the blanks need to be baked off to cure, so my wife found a toaster oven at Goodwill for $4...it works great although I hope to toast a bagel while my blanks are cooking. There is a large box of stuff in the shop that needs stabilizing so more pics when that happens. Thanks for looking!

What kind of tubing did you use? I find that the solvents coming through the tube soften it and must be replaced periodically. I would like to find a solvent resistant tubing.

Well, the problem you will encounter with those clear chemical resistant hoses is that, one set will cost you more than all the replacement ones you are using will cost you in the life time of the stabiliser...!

Cheers
George

I'm using clear vinyl Frank...but maybe something like fuel line would work since it's made to handle toxic kinda stuff.

Nice setup, it looks like Curtis has changed the design of his lids, what is the top made of now, it used to look like mesquite wood. Or so i thought? memory is going....

The design is basically the same. It used to be plywood but finding goof flat plywood is a challenge. It is now mdf with plastic laminate on both sides and wood trim around the edges
