I'm wondering if there is anyone on her who provides stabilizing services and how much it cost per blank or how it's charged/per batch?
I didn't realize that you stabilized for others. That is cool and good to know. We've tried to break down all of the FAQ on this: https://bullseyeturningsupply.com/pages/stabilizing-services

I just saw and replied to the other thread. There is no silver dye but a lighter shade of black might accomplish what you're looking forI didn't realize you guys provide stabilization service...
I posted a thread a little while about about silver dye stabilization. I found a very rare blank some years ago of a silver dyed maple burl. It was an amazing blank, and whatever dye was used penetrated all the way. I don't know if it was double-dyed...some parts of the burl are very dark, but maybe that is just a density thing. In any case...I have not found anything like it since then, which I think was 2021. Is it possible to do dye stabilization with a silver colored dye? I don't know for sure if it was truly silver, or maybe some shades of gray, but the blank really did have a shimmering silver quality to it, and I'm not sure if that was just chatoyance, or if there was a dye factor to it as well. In any case...is that something you guys could do?
