Well my fist gallon of Ultraseal arrived and I am ready to stabilize many dry blanks I have collected over the past couple of years using my dust collector ( I meant to say pressure pot) that i built last fall but have been too busy to try. Anyways, I know that it is always listed that wood must have a moisture content of 10% or less for stabilization. What happens if it is above 10%? Is it critical to get it under this ceiling and are results improved the lower the MC goes?

Thanks

A high moisture content can inhibit the cure process, resulting in an incomplete, gummy cure that will load up your sandpaper. STRONGLY recommended to get the moisture content down to 8% max or you may be unpleasantly surprised and mistakenly blame the Ultraseal
