This question is mostly for Mesquite Man, but if any of you have input I'd love to hear it! I made a colored pencil blank by pressure casting colored pencils in clear PR. Being that the colored pencils I used are painted wood with a colored 'lead' core, they are kind of soft and tend to tear out easily. Would it be possible to stabilize the blank with Cactus Juice, even though it is already cast in PR? Would the stabilizing resin and the cast PR react or discolor each other? Is it even possible? How big would the explosion be? (just kidding)..

:befuddled:

I can hear your compressors and vacuum pumps running from here....

Any ideas? (and yes I did a search....)

Thanks, Iv´e been trying to make a colored pencil pencil for a while now. I may end up investing in a power sander. I´m very sensitive to CA. In reality, I would make myself very sick.
