Ummm Becca ..... every dang squirrel in my neighborhood thinks my bird feeder was designed for squirrels. I don't have plans for a squirrel feeder .... however .... I would be more than willing to ship a whole bunch of Georgia squirrels to you. Just let me know how many you want. I'll even pay for the shipping. [:D]
 
Hey Al, in Big Bear, they make bird feeders that are squirrel proof[:p] I remember someone posting a picture of a squirrel feeder they had made out of some pretty wood.
 
Becca, I didn't post the pic but give me until tomorrow and I'll dig out a plan, scan it and email it to you. I've made a few of them and everyone really likes them. Start looking for a 1 gallon glass pickle jar.

I have 2 jars that I got from a neighboring restaurant a few years back and been meaning to make one of those feeders. Have the plans and everything.
 
If anyone would like the plans for the squirrel feeder, send me an email and I'd be happy to share. I don't sell many of these. In this neck of the country people either love the squirrels or shoot them. No middle ground.[:)]

I'm with you Doc. Dang squirrels are just big rats with fuzzy tails.

I find chili powder in bird feeders work well. It a good for the birds who can't taste the heat and squirrels hate it.
 
Thanks Bruce, I'll be sure to find a shady spot. I guess I'm a bit of a bleeding heart when it comes to animals. I can't even pick a lobster from a tank to eat. Don't get me wrong, I'll eat it, just don't want to see it alive before I do[:0]
 
Al, are you planning to use it to lure the squirrels in for an easier shot?[}:)][:D]

Bruce, don't some people shoot them simply BECAUSE they love them????? Huh?
