Squares in squares

Two pens I finished earlier this year.

The first is padauk, Wenger and walnut. The second purple heart, maple, walnut with green and blue llstacked veneer for the squares.

Very nice. I have made some similar so I know that's not an easy blank. You did well.

The first 2 bring back memories of many years ago here where the rage was to make a diamond pattern segmented in a blank. One person did the square thing and looked great. probably that was the beginning of my love for segmenting. Nice job on the pens.

Great job!! I keep saying I'm going to play around with segmenting more, but until then I will just continue be inspired by pens such as these.
