Spring break is here!

75 degrees, clear skies, just a little breeze, maybe some golf and fishing...








Except Mother Nature just whizzed all over my plans

Well, at least I do have the week off

Here in always sunny warm Florida I am in the middle of some major Spring fix-ups on the house. Starting roofing last weekend and the heat was horrible, but after gallons of water to drink and bad sunburns I got the two-story part finished. Before I did the lower roof I decided to part the walls above it just to keep paint off our new metal roof I am installing, so when I get up this morning it's too cold to paint (label says it should be above 50, and it's not)!

Stan, I feel your pain. Even though it is mucho warmer here it's still cold for this time of year.

Stan,I know how you feel,we have been getting SNOW flurries all morning in TEXAS,sure hope it don't kill all of my garden,really got a good start on it,several tomato plants have green tomatoes on them already.

I envy you guys. Almost all the snow is gone here but it's 17F. Much below normal.[]

I know the feeling, Stan. I had plans for a great weekend ride on my Harley. [!] We actually had blizzard conditions her last night for about 45 minutes. And it has made it's way all the way up to about 31 F w/flurries in between breaks of sunshine. Too cold to work in the shop (even w/the heater going) and too yucky to go do something. [xx(] Some Spring!

It is creeping up to spring, just way to slow. It's around 40 here.
