One of my first complex segment successes. This is purple heart and teak in a slimline style. LOML grabbed this one right away. Right after this one, I moved on to better kits. Have only made a handful of slimlines since.
This was also my first real understanding of the value of jigs. I had to figure out one for the cutting process, one for the sanding process and one for the assembly process.
It has actually a lot of fun in the work. I won't even tell you how many failures I had along the way, you know, discovering things that just did not work. Since then, I found that I really did this the hard way.
I am also just abysmal at the photography skill. Need lots of work there.
