Spell Check

Hi All,
I know you have a spell check in this sight, but got a question?
How dose it work, just can't figuaer it out. as you can see I'm
not very good at spelling.[)]

Charlie,

If you start a topic, you will see a heading titled Format at the left side of the blue box above the smilies. Look at the little boxes to the right of the word Format. The last little box has the letters ABC and a check mark. Click on this box to see which words the spell checker feels are incorrect.

I use the Google toolbar, not only is it handy for quick searching, it has an excellent spilll cheeker I youse to avoid misteaks.

I use Firefox and not sure whose feature it is but whenever I type a possible mis-spelled word, it underlines it in red automatically.

Of course I still choose to ignore it sometimes. [8)]

OOOhhhhhh,never saw that,some times i don`t know what the Google Spell checker is doing,now i have another option. Carl

Charlie,
One of the draw backs of spell checkers is that they won't help if you misspell one word and in the process make another word e.g., in your message you misspelled "does" as "dose" - a spell checker would not have found a problem.

Thanks for the link. That is one of the things I hate about IE, one of many. Now that is fixed. Now if there was a download to fix the other 100 or so problems.
