I thought the SOYP forum was for showing others the pen(s) you have been working on not as a springboard to direct readers to other forums or threads... however good the cause is.

George you are totally right abot that. There was someone who posted earlier recommending tahe we put a link or reminder in some of the oter topics as not everyone started at the top of the topics, but just went to their favorite topic. I was just trying to follow his suggestion, and didn't think it would be wrong. I apologize for this and will ask Jeff to remove this thread. Sorry

Worse than that is posting Cav's email address. Jeff has said time and again not to post email addresses because the spammers use bots to crawl forums looking for email addresses.

Therein lies a dilemma.
I suggest we get an IAP donation address for raffles.
Cav's address was used for the last "special purpose" raffle, so if its to be "botted", it probably already has. HOWEVER, if we are going to have continuous raffles, why not use "raffle thread 5 @ IAP" for the paypal???

When Cav and I talked about this, he told me that was a dedicated Paypal address that he used on this forum and for me to post it so people could donate for this raffle. So I did. Here I am trying to help IAP out with a good raffle and I get bonged right and left. Oh well, I did have good intentions.
