Spalted birch burl

Cut up a birch burl tonight.. darn thing was full of spalting.. Looks like its firewood huh? :frown:

Try to use a stabilizing technique, cut to blank length, drill, soak in wood hardner. Use CA and soak ID and OD. Test it to see how soft the wood is and turn as is. Just a couple of ideas.

Thanks Don, will need to do that to some from another burl I have, but this burls wood is hard as a rock :biggrin:
